Johanna Butler is a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine with a clinical focus on women’s health, fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. Originally from Colombia, she is fluent in both English and Spanish and brings a warm, compassionate, and culturally sensitive approach to her practice.

She earned both her Master’s and Doctorate from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX. Her doctoral research explored the classical formula Shou Tai Wan and its application in cases of threatened miscarriage, reflecting her commitment to integrative reproductive medicine.

Johanna integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional therapy to support each patient’s unique health needs, promoting balance and long-term well-being. Her care is grounded in deep listening and a personalized, whole-body approach to healing.

In addition to reproductive care, she also treats musculoskeletal pain, digestive concerns, and emotional imbalances. Johanna offers cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling for natural facial rejuvenation.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time in nature, exploring new places, and cuddling with her dog, Luna.

Marisa earned her Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO in 2014. This 4-year program of over 3,300 hours included training in acupuncture, herbal prescribing, and nutrition. She is a nationally certified, licensed acupuncturist and Diplomate in Oriental Medicine.

Marisa owned a private practice near Denver, CO for 7 years before finding her home in Spokane. She helps people overcome a wide variety of ailments, with particular success treating pain, stress, anxiety, digestive issues, headaches, allergies, and fatigue. Coleen Smith started her career as a registered nurse (RN) in 1986. She attended American College of Acupuncture in Houston with a Masters in Oriental Medicine. Coleen received her Doctorate (DAOM) at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, specializing in pain and women’s health. Coleen has had training in Hang Zhou China, Tian Jin China, and Tokyo, Japan to broaden her knowledge. Coleen is a Diplomat, nationally certified in Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM (DipNCCAOM, L.Ac.,CHM.). She is a board-certified fellow of the ABORM, (American Board of Reproductive Medicine) since its inception in 2008 and now serves on the Board working to promote the standards and integration of reproductive medicine. Coleen is empathetic, and dynamic with a passion for fertility medicine and neuroendocrinology. Coleen is currently an adjunct professor in San Francisco at ACTCM’s doctoral program and has been active in ASRM-CAM-SIG (Complementary and Integrative Medicine-Special Interest Group) for the last 10 years.
